The university offers a great variety of sports opportunities, like volleyball, soccer, gymnastics, karate, badminton, tennis, sailing, hockey, Frisbee and the possibility to use the university fitness studio. In general it is free for students to join in.

IZ – Internationales Zentrum (=International Centre)

Information centre and meeting point especially for international students. The centre offers help in any situation and organises a lot of cultural and other events in cooperation with the International Office (“Akademisches Auslandsamt”), for instance city tours, cultural events, parties, … .
