The Diploma of “Applied Biogeography” should convey to the student the ability to analyse the community environment in its structure and function and be able to assess through scientific, social and political standpoints. The graduate should then be capable of dealing with environmental protection as well as control and prevention of environmental issues.
A graduate of ´Applied Biogeography´ should be able to represent political authorities, organisations, production firms and engineering offices in the fields of environmental analysis, environmental observation and nature protection, i.e. environmental management through applied and practical planning.
